十二生肖Puppet Show (澄3y7)

為了妳的學校, 爸媽盡心盡力攪好中國新年, 今天來為小朋友們演出十二生肖的故事

先由三位老師 、妳媽咪和Lauren 的媽咪演出一次, 再由小朋友來個puppet show!

Hi Room 3 Families,



A BIG THANKYOU to Sherbie and Lauren's mom for a GREAT puppet show, the

story of how the the animals were chosen for the Chinese Zodiac.

Incidentally, all your children are rabbits except for Jake who is a
dog.

Ask your child to tell you about the poor cat who came in last in the
race,

the tricky rat, what happened to the poor rooster, the poor snake, the

monkey. Here is a website that tells a similar story. The teachers
joined

the moms to tell the story and then it was the children's turn to do the

puppet show. We had a lot of fun and teachers as well as children will

remember this story for many years. Sherbie and Lauren's mom worked hard

making it easier for us to understand a fascinating culture and
traditions.

Outdoors, we continue to play lion dance with Room 2. We paraded around

with lions, instruments, and Mrs. Bitonio's CD.



On Chinese New Year's we welcome the children to wear their Chinese
attire

or something RED for good luck.
